The 2019 Ford F-150 has arrived, and drivers on the lookout for a new full-size pickup truck should take notice. As one of the most-trusted pickups on the road today, the 2019 F-150 has big shoes to fill. Thankfully, the changes made for the new model year make the 2019 Ford F-150 a worthy successor. We’ve put together a list of differences between the 2019 Ford F-150 vs the 2018 Ford F-150 to showcase the changes made for 2019.

The 2019 Ford F-150’s major changes compared to its predecessor is the addition of standard features that were previously optional. One notable change is the greater availability of a diesel-powered, 3.0-liter V6 engine with an output of 250 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque. While this engine was technically available for the 2018 F-150, it was introduced late into the model year and should be much easier to find in the 2019 models.
